Design for focusing on the product lifecycle (DFX)

Design for Product Lifecycle (DFX) is the most important core technology in product design, fully known as Design for X. X refers to the product lifecycle or any specific stage within it, such as assembly, manufacturing, usage, maintenance, recycling, disposal, etc. It also includes competitive factors of the product: time, cost, quality, etc. Among these, DFT (Design for Testability), DFM (Design for Manufacturability), and DFA (Design for Assembly) are the most emphasized.

According to different objects, DFX design technology can be divided into the following six categories:

1.DFM: Design for Manufacture

2.DFT: Design for Testing

3.DFA: Design for assembly

4.DFM: Design For Maintenance

5.DFR: Design for Recovering &Recycling

6.DFE: Design for Environment

DFX Main Tools

Midovax has comprehensive and professional DFX capabilities, including Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Testability (DFT), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Reliability (DFR). These capabilities help clients address manufacturing, testing, assembly, and reliability issues during the product design phase, achieving optimized production processes, reducing costs during production, improving product quality and efficiency, shortening time to market, and enhancing product competitiveness.

The following are the DFX services provided by Midovax:

DFM (Design for Manufacturability): This focuses on analyzing the manufacturability, efficiency, and cost of the product during the design phase, making the product easier to produce, thus reducing costs, shortening production time, and improving product quality.

DFT (Design for Testability): This involves analyzing the testing requirements during the manufacturing process during the design phase, ensuring that the product can achieve comprehensive test coverage and high testing efficiency during manufacturing tests.

DFA (Design for Assembly): This focuses on analyzing the rationality of the assembly process during the design phase, enhancing the product's assemblability to ensure the assembly process is simple, efficient, low-cost, and high-quality.

DFR (Design for Reliability): This employs scientific design methods to improve the product's stability and durability, reducing product failures and maintenance frequency, and extending the product's service life.
